Move over

Well, my move is over, and my life is finally starting to line out.
And I also not that the stock market is finally starting to act along with my long held beliefs again.
So, even though I am still down for the year, I have great hopes for the future.
As of Friday, I completed inching in to 100% invested in the small-mid fund.
I would have liked the large cap growth fund better, but I am locked out.

Yesterday's pop was a last chance to get out. So, today I am all out. I think I will be making much smaller bets going forward. TTFN, Don

Wrong again

Well, it is time for me to admit that I was wrong. I am putting 10% into the Money Market fund today. WWW.all-about-angels.com is now reopened for business. TTFN, Don

Today's up move is enough to push me to be 100% in Equity Index. TTFN, Don

Stopped going down

It looks as if the market has stopped going down. So, I am going 10% in into the S&P 500 fund. TTFN, Don

Snow Snow Snow

Big snow storm here in Lake Zurich/Chicago. It would be fun to have a snowmobile, like this angel has. Yesterdays market was worse thatn I thought. So far this year, I am down 1.0%. But, at least I didn't go down the 1.3% thast R2K did today. TTFN, Don

Selling out

Well, this little party is not faring well, so it is time for me to sell out and wait for another buying opportunity. I figure that I will be down about 0.5% for the year after this sell. Not much fun. TTFN, Don

Gift

Today's increase in R2K was completely unexpected. But, I'll take any gift Mr. Market happens to offer. I still think we are in a bear market, but I intend to stay in the market as long as it keeps going up.

January was off to a bad start. I ended up 0.4%, while the Nalco money market account was up 0.32%. A lot of effort for not much extra return.

100% in R2K

Friday's move in 15% was a fortuitous one. I am going 100% small cap today. And, www.all-about-angels.com is closing at the end of the month to move to a less expensive location. You can expect to see price cuts across the board , except for Willow Tree, where we are already at the minimum sales price allowed by Demdaco. TTFN, Don

Cover shorts

I think today is a good time to cover any short positions. I am going 15% long R2K today. TTFN, Don

Read a great article, that says in part: So much for the seasonal strength we were expecting. November was tough with the S&P 500 dropping 4.4%. No rebound in December either, as the "500" fell 0.86%. This has been followed by an ugly start to January.
When the market does not follow its normal seasonal patterns, we think something could be very wrong. We are therefore turning more cautious on the market for the next three to six months, and believe the chances that the 10% correction that we've seen turns into something more like a 15% to 20% decline.

Overbought

The market is overbought. So, I am selling 70% of my international fund. That will make me 60% RLV, 10% Mid-small, 10% international. TTFN Don

Sy Harding buy in

Tomorrow it the first possible day for Sy Harding to issue a Seasonal Buy Signal. And, unless the market crashes today, it is a mathematical certainty that the buy signal will happen. So, if anyone is listening, I advise increasing your stock market allocation today. But, we are short-term overbought, and I am reluctant to go into 2X funds when we are overbought. TTFN, Don

My new split as of today is 59% Large Cap Value, 21% mid-small cap, 20% International. TTFN Don

Large Cap Value and Mid Cap are both down as we speak. It is probably a good time to to 100% long. So, I will be 60% RLV, 40% Mid.

This is Options Expiration week. Today is a down day, and in my juidgement, a good opprotunity to go 90% long. 50% Large Cap Value, 40% mid cap, 10% stable value. TTFN Don

My YTD loss is now down to 1.4%. One of my mechanical rules was satisfied today, so I am increasing to 80% in, split between mid-small cap and large cap value.
